🎨 About SpeakonitComics

Where art, conversation, and community collide.

SpeakonitComicswas founded by lifelong friends Charles Bradleyand J.J. Edward Jackson, born from a shared love of comics that began in grade school art class. After reconnecting years later, their passion had only grown stronger — and so did their desire to build something bigger than themselves.

They realized the comic book world, while thriving, could feel intimidating to newcomers. That’s why they created SpeakonitComics: a platform for anyone—regardless of background—to explore comics, connect with others, and find their voice in this vibrant medium. It's a space to celebrate stories, spark creativity, and most of all, to speak on it.

Over the past 10 years, the SpeakonitComics family has grown. The late Rob Ocascio, their beloved “comics historian,” brought depth and knowledge to every event and discussion. Together, they’ve hosted live forums at FJB Comicsin Jersey City, Jim Hanley’s Universein Manhattan, Fortress of Solitudein Newark and interviewed shops like Carmine Street Comics. SpeakonitComics even made its way to schools and libraries—blending comics with education in powerful ways.

During the pandemic, SpeakonitComics pivoted online, expanding its reach with virtual content, live discussions, and YouTube videos. Along the way, collaborators like Art of Eliand Irma Noelhave joined the mission, bringing energy, artistry, and dedication to the movement.

From Joe Koch's warehouse eventsto streaming conversations and comic culture news — SpeakonitComics continues to evolve as a creative force. We believe comics are for everyone. Whether you’re here to learn, laugh, build your own world, or just geek out — this is your space.

Welcome to the SpeakonitComics family. Let’s create, connect, and speak on it.

🌟 Dedicated to Linda Bradley

This page is lovingly dedicated to Linda Bradley— a woman of wisdom, strength, and undeniable love for heroes. From Fred Williamson - Three the Hard Way, Chuck Norris - Braddock/Walker Texas Ranger, Bruce Lee - Enter The Dragon to Chuck Connors' Rifleman, she saw in each of them the courage and character she carried daily.

Her spirit lives in every story we tell and every spotlight we shine. Whether you’re inspired by legends or living them — remember, real heroes lift others with love.

🕊️ Forever our hero. Thank you, Mom.
